Merry Christmas

 

Good Evening Friends and Family! This year has sure had many surprises both good and bad. But through them all we are doing our best to give God the Glory He deserves.

This Christmas as you can see was quite merry. We had some toys but we tried not to go into an abundance of toys as we wanted to concentrate on the lessons that we plan to give to the kids. The Girls are getting ballet lessons and the three older kids are getting violin lessons.  While seeing their presents strewn about you can def. see that a teacher had her hand in them. haha. They each have their very own craft box, the leapfrog system is already in use and items such as- the solar system, and the human body
games”- made their way in. Also quite important in our house is music. They were blessed to receive mics and a drumset from their grandparents and Aunt/Uncle, as well as the harmonica and violins at home. I think that is really what I am the most excited about. To watch their already love for music and worship grow.  I bet we have some future worship helpers in the making

What do you notice? Do you remember that hidden smile she was doing? The one that said I want to smile, but I'm not going to. And don't try to make me or I will get mad!
Well people look at our girl now! Go on just look at what God had done so far. We are just at the beginning, but that is something! That smile! I love it. Praise God!

If you have not had the chance to see this movie...don't. The tunes, ya know, catchy, the ones that stick. This movie is full of them! Oh and lucky for you there is merchandise to go with it!
Buuut also lucky, watching two girls prance, sing, and parade around really is one of the best parts of any day.  I. Love. It.

This has been a very busy week. Working, getting ready for Baby O's birthday par-tay and the kids winter festival. I was THAT mom. Ya know the crazy camera one who runs to the front every time their kid is on stage... yep that is me. I ran down three times. Got a few good pics too. Now if they will just load!
ugh it isn't working. I can't figure it out. I will have to try on fb I guess. Dang that is really annoying.

Journaling with the kids...

So I started a journal with each of the older kids. They can color, write, or draw pictures to me. It is a nice way to express how they are feeling. I'm really liking it. My Mom did this with me when I was older and I thought why not start right now:) please enjoy some of the pictures from their journals I took yesterday while I was at work and writing them back. There are pics from all three kids here. HN mainly writes. HW, mainly draws. And little Miss, does both. As you can see they draw for fun and what they are thinking about. ><> Momma L
